The Food and Food Service Delivery Driver position at Core-Mark is a vital role within the company’s operations, focusing primarily on the safe and timely delivery of food and related products to customers. Delivery drivers serve as the face of Core-Mark, cultivating strong and lasting relationships with clients through professional interaction and dependable service. This role involves operating tractor trailers or straight trucks on various route types—including intrastate, interstate, local, shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop routes. Drivers are responsible for ensuring the accurate loading and unloading of products, verifying deliveries with customers, and adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety protocols. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $80,000 to over $100,000 annually, with details discussed further during the interview process. The role's schedule is Monday through Friday, with early morning shifts starting between 3:00 am and 4:00 am. Local routes provide the benefit of returning home nightly and having weekends off.

Core-Mark prioritizes the health and well-being of its drivers by offering comprehensive benefits from Day 1, including health and wellness programs, an employee stock purchase plan, employer-matched 401K, education assistance, paid time off, and numerous other perks. The company fosters a safe and inclusive environment characterized by respect, recognition, and reward, which helps drivers thrive and feel valued. Growth opportunities abound for dedicated personnel, as drivers play an essential role in supporting the food distribution system across the country. Responsibilities extend beyond mere transportation—they include thorough safety inspections, handling customer payments, managing freight security, and maintaining equipment cleanliness and documentation. Drivers are required to maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, ensuring a professional, safe, and efficient delivery service that upholds the high standards expected of Core-Mark representatives.
