Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 6+ months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license must be 21+ years of age
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure new DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment such as two-wheeler and liftgate to move and stack product cases of varying sizes and weights
Job Qualifications

- 1+ years foodservice distribution industry experience preferred
- Experience with onboard computer and electronic log systems such as PeopleNet preferred
- Customer service-related work experience preferred
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Report immediately all safety hazards and inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of items and check customer invoices for loaded products
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule and unload products into designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks on items, scan, contact supervisor about removing orders and verify delivery of items with customer obtaining proper signatures
