The role available is for a full-time CDL Driver who will be an integral part of Breakthru Beverage's distribution team. This position offers a consistent 4-day workweek, running from Tuesday to Friday starting at 6:00 AM, with competitive pay at $26.75 per hour and opportunities for overtime. Importantly, drivers enjoy the benefit of being home every night, avoiding overnight trips and long hauls.
As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for operating delivery vehicles to transport pre-sold bottles of wine, spirits, beer, and other beverages from the distribution center to customer locations safely and efficiently. This job requires handling customer interactions professionally by maintaining good relations, providing excellent service, and resolving any concerns or issues that may arise. The role also involves managing payments and delivery records, ensuring all legal requirements and safety standards are met under federal regulations.
Drivers must conduct vehicle inspections and maintain the delivery trucks, ensuring the vehicle is clean and functioning properly to facilitate safe transport of products. They are also tasked with returning empty containers and managing rejected or unsold merchandise while staying compliant with company policies and highway regulations. The work environment is fast-paced and requires individuals who can balance independent judgment with teamwork, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Job Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license, CDL (Class A or B commercial license)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in related area
- Demonstrate good communication skills with high levels of professionalism
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Job Duties
- Operate a vehicle and deliver assigned orders of wine, spirits, beer and other beverages to accounts in a safe and responsible manner while complying with federal mandated laws
- Manage the customer relationship by maintaining good relations with retail customers and resolving customer concerns
- Collect payment from customers and reconcile the assigned load with receipts and delivery invoice
- Record sales by completing daily sales and delivery records
- Return empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise by making appropriate collections from customers
- Maintain vehicle by inspecting before and after use, logging inspection and reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal mandated laws and DOT requirements
- Perform duties in a safe manner by following established safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Maintain appearance of delivery truck by daily cleaning of the inside of the truck
- Request routine truck maintenance by completing written maintenance request form
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
