Job Description
Breakthru Beverage Group is a leading distributor in the beer, wine, and spirits industry with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality beverage products across various markets. Known for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, Breakthru Beverage Group operates with a passion for providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. The company values its associates and offers a supportive and empowering workplace culture that fosters growth and career advancement. As a well-established player in the beverage distribution sector, Breakthru Beverage Group continues to expand its reach and maintain its status as an industry expert dedicated to serving retail and commercial customers alike.
The Breakthru Beverage Group is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as CDL Drivers. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work a four-day work week from Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with a 7 AM start time and potential for overtime. CDL Drivers play a critical role in the company’s operations by ensuring that pre-sold products such as wine, spirits, beer, and other beverages are safely and efficiently delivered from the Distribution Center to customer locations. This role involves close interaction with customers on a daily basis, making customer service skills and professionalism essential.
In this position, CDL Drivers are responsible for manually unloading and delivering products while maintaining compliance with federal regulations and DOT requirements. The role requires managing customer relationships by listening to concerns and resolving issues promptly while maintaining confidentiality of operations. Drivers also collect payments, reconcile deliveries, complete daily sales and delivery records, and handle the return of empty containers or unsold merchandise. A portion of the job involves paperwork due to liquor laws which necessitate signed delivery invoices. Vehicle maintenance is critical, with drivers inspecting their trucks before and after use, logging reports, and ensuring the truck’s cleanliness and safety.
Safety is a top priority, with CDL Drivers expected to follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. The job also requires the ability to lift between 45-65 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, and climbing in and out of the truck. Associated with this position is a competitive hourly rate of $40.14, with eligibility for union benefits including health care, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefits.
Ideal candidates will have a valid CDL license (Class A or B), at least one year of experience in a related field, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask and work both independently and within a team. Bilingual skills are considered an asset but are not mandatory. Breakthru Beverage Group values accountability and expects drivers to meet their targets and solve routine problems effectively. The position promises a rewarding career with a company that truly values and invests in its people, offering room for personal development and long-term employment. Join the Breakthru Beverage family and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in the beverage distribution industry.
