Route Delivery Driver

Empire Paper Company is currently seeking professional Delivery Drivers to join its growing team. This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, ensuring drivers are home every night and on weekends, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Delivery Drivers are responsible for running daily routes within an assigned region, delivering goods efficiently and professionally to customers. This role requires reliable attendance, as well as physical capability to handle products and equipment used during deliveries.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have experience unloading trucks, and be comfortable with customer interaction during deliveries. Applicants must hold at least a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a HazMat endorsement or be willing to obtain the endorsement within 30 days of hiring. While a Class A CDL is preferred, it is not mandatory. Drivers should be physically capable of independently lifting up to 75 pounds, carrying 50 pounds, and pushing or pulling substantial weights with or without mechanical assistance. Candidates must also be at least 25 years old.

Drivers begin their routes between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m., completing assignments throughout the day until the delivery schedule is finished. The position also occasionally involves special pickup and drop-off tasks. Drivers utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies to offload freight safely from bobtail trucks, emphasizing the importance of physical endurance and safety in daily operations.
