For prepared foods, representatives serve and package products upon customer request and offer guidance on preparation and reheating instructions, while also supporting chefs with food preparation tasks such as cutting, slicing, and dicing.

The Food Service Representative is expected to follow H-E-B’s comprehensive food safety and sanitation regulations, operate and maintain equipment, clean display cases, and adhere strictly to store operating procedures. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively and strong organizational skills to manage inventory and ensure product freshness. Furthermore, the position demands physical capability to work in various environmental conditions and perform tasks like lifting and reaching frequently, depending on the department. Job Duties

  • Provides superior customer service
