The company is currently seeking a dedicated Rope Access UTSW Technician for a full-time, nested position based at the Texas City, Texas location. This role is ideal for candidates who either possess certification as a Level I, II, or III Rope Access Technician through SPRAT or IRATA or for those who are eager to obtain such certifications through company-provided training. The Rope Access Technician role is critical to supporting the company’s inspection and maintenance activities by safely accessing difficult-to-reach areas using rope access techniques. Job Requirements

  • Maintains certification as Level I, II, or III Rope Access Technician (SPRAT or IRATA) or interest in obtaining
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Meets first-aid, CPR, and AED certification requirements at or within 60 days of hire
  • Valid driver’s license without restrictions
  • Effective use of technology including computers and communication devices
  • Proof of classroom hours and NDT training
  • Previous Level II Certifications or OJT

Job Qualifications

  • Certified as Level I, II, or III Rope Access Technician (SPRAT or IRATA) or interested in obtaining certification
  • High school graduate or GED required
  • Relevant bachelor’s or advanced degrees are an asset
  • Current first-aid, CPR, and AED certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days
  • Valid driver’s license without restrictions
  • Proficient with technology including Microsoft Office and communication platforms
  • Proof of classroom hours and NDT training
  • Previous Level II certifications or On-the-Job Training (OJT)
