The role of Rooms Operations Manager at JW Marriott Philadelphia is a dynamic and vital part of the hotel's operations team. Reporting within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations category, the manager assists in the execution and oversight of all departments within the rooms division, including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping. The core mission is to continuously improve both guest satisfaction and employee engagement while maximizing operational efficiency and financial performance of these departments. The manager will lead specific teams and collaborate across departments to ensure standards and procedures comply with brand guidelines and local operating procedures. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related field
- or 2-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major
- minimum 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related field
- strong communication skills
- leadership ability
- knowledge of brand service culture
- ability to manage multiple departments and teams
- proficiency in scheduling and operational management
- willingness to perform direct job functions when necessary
Job Qualifications
