Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
  • OR two-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major
  • two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
  • excellent communication skills
  • managerial experience or potential
  • ability to work full time at the Miami Beach location
  • willingness to lead and motivate a team
  • ability to handle guest and employee concerns with professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • OR two-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major with two years experience
  • proven leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to analyze financial and performance data
  • proficient in hospitality service standards
  • strong problem-solving and customer service abilities

Job Duties

  • assist in managing the execution of operations in rooms departments such as front office, engineering/maintenance, housekeeping
  • verify that goals are translated to the team related to guest tracking and productivity
  • create and nurture a motivating, empowered, and team-oriented environment
  • monitor guest and employee satisfaction results and develop strategies to improve
  • lead by example demonstrating confidence, energy, and enthusiasm
  • handle employee and guest concerns professionally and proactively
  • oversee scheduling and perform hourly job functions as needed
