Job Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Provide own housing and transportation to and from work
- Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and use hand, finger and wrist dexterity
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
- High attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility in work schedule to meet operational demands
Job Qualifications
- Completed degree in hospitality, human resources, sales and marketing, food and beverage, or business administration within two years of the program
- Proficient with computer software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Fluent in English
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Passion for hospitality and strong alignment with the hotel's vision and values
- At least 21 years of age prior to the program start date
Job Duties
- Comprehend structure, roles and responsibilities within the departments they are leading
- Demonstrate competency in creating departmental schedules, managing payroll reporting and forecasting operational requirements
- Fulfill special guest requests involving dietary restrictions, room preferences and special occasions
- Prevent and correct imperfections and blemishes within the hotel
- Communicate effectively with other departments and extended hotel team for alignment
- Deliver exceptional guest service and work independently
