Job Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Provide own housing and transportation to and from work
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and use hand, finger and wrist dexterity
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Flexibility in work schedule to meet operational demands

Job Qualifications

  • Completed degree in hospitality, human resources, sales and marketing, food and beverage, or business administration within two years of the program
  • Proficient with computer software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Passion for hospitality and strong alignment with the hotel's vision and values
  • At least 21 years of age prior to the program start date

Job Duties

  • Comprehend structure, roles and responsibilities within the departments they are leading
  • Demonstrate competency in creating departmental schedules, managing payroll reporting and forecasting operational requirements
  • Fulfill special guest requests involving dietary restrictions, room preferences and special occasions
  • Prevent and correct imperfections and blemishes within the hotel
  • Communicate effectively with other departments and extended hotel team for alignment
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and work independently
