Job Description
The Seminole Gaming Company, a prominent part of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, is dedicated to maintaining a high standard of excellence in the gaming and hospitality industries. As a major player in these sectors, the company operates several casino and resort facilities that blend luxury, entertainment, and exceptional customer service, all underpinned by a strong Native American cultural heritage. The organization places a significant emphasis on the health and well-being of its team members and their families, offering comprehensive benefits that support physical health, financial security, and work-life balance. Employment with Seminole Gaming not only offers career growth opportunities but also provides a supportive community that values professionalism and respect for cultural traditions. The company promotes an inclusive work environment that reflects the values of the Seminole Tribe and is committed to fostering positive guest relations and maintaining regulatory compliance. Employment at Seminole Gaming requires candidates to undergo thorough background checks to ensure integrity and compliance with tribal and gaming commission regulations.
This role, specifically that of a Room Attendant Inspector, is crucial to the seamless operation and reputation of Seminole Gaming's hospitality services. The primary responsibility of this position is to inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards meet the company's rigorous guidelines. The Room Attendant Inspector oversees the work of Room Attendants, providing quality control and assistance as needed to uphold high standards. This role requires a professional who is highly detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction. It also demands excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support the dynamic nature of hotel operations within a casino environment.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, primarily within the hotel areas and sometimes extending to the casino floor. Employees must be able to manage physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, lifting objects up to 35 pounds, and using their hands for cleaning and inspection duties. The role requires adherence to safety regulations, including those mandated by the Gaming Commission and the Seminole Tribe policies. Additionally, the job carries a unique cultural significance due to the company's Native American roots and its preference policy for tribal employment, reinforcing a respectful and culturally rich workplace.
This job offers candidates a chance to be part of a storied, culturally significant company that values integrity, detail, and exceptional guest service. Employment is contingent upon passing mandatory background checks including credit, criminal, and drug screenings as part of the licensing process. Seminole Gaming remains committed to providing a safe and rewarding workplace that encourages employee development and supports a balanced work and personal life. The benefits package is comprehensive and may vary by employment status, reflecting the company’s commitment to employee well-being.
