This particular role is a full-time, non-management housekeeping position located at the St. Regis hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. The Housekeeping role is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction expected at St. Regis. The position requires entry and inspection of guest rooms, documenting the status of cleaned rooms, completing required paperwork, and responding promptly to guest requests or needs from other departments. The Housekeeping Associate will work with diligence to keep all assigned areas in pristine condition, supporting a luxurious and welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities include entering guest rooms while following proper procedures to ensure privacy and security, assisting in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, motivation, and discipline of staff as needed, supporting quality assurance standards, and maintaining safety policies. The role demands physical activity such as lifting, bending, walking, and operating cleaning carts. Housekeeping Associates must comply with company policies and assist their team in meeting shared goals. This role involves complex coordination and attention to detail to ensure every guest's stay exudes the excellence synonymous with the St. Regis name.

This position does not require supervisory experience or special licensing. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or a GED with a minimum of one year of related work experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • Ability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for long periods
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
  • Ability to use computers or point of sale systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Willingness to assist in team efforts and complete reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors

Job Duties

  • Enter and inspect guest rooms following established procedures
  • Complete assignment sheets and checklists reporting cleanliness and area condition
  • Document all required paperwork for the housekeeping department
  • Identify room assignments and required cleaning types
  • Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, mentoring, disciplining, motivating, and training staff
  • Comply with company safety policies, report maintenance and safety issues, maintain personal appearance and uniform standards
