This role at The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner is a non-management, full-time position situated at the heart of the luxury hotel sector. It involves directly engaging with guests and ensuring their experience complies with the high "Gold Standards" that define The Ritz-Carlton culture and service ethos. The role is primarily focused on the allocation and management of guest rooms according to client preferences, registration procedures, and key packet preparation. Responsibilities include managing group arrivals, attending requests for room changes or stay adjustments when feasible, and maintaining communication with relevant staff to keep operations seamless.

Beyond room assignments, this position entails verifying reservations and cancellations, daily inspection of rooms designated out of service, ensuring market-aligned rates, and managing billing adjustments. The successful candidate will be involved in meticulous document management, including archiving guest records and processing check-in/check-out records while activating room keys and validating payments. This role requires vigilance in identifying overbooked rooms, blocking rooms when necessary, and preparing comprehensive daily reports to support operational oversight.

The role demands high standards in guest interaction, message handling, and maintaining confidentiality, all delivered in a professional manner consistent with the company’s strict policies. Job Duties

  • Assign rooms according to guest requests and preferences whenever possible
  • preregister selected guests and prepare key packets
  • organize and coordinate check-in and preregistration procedures for arriving groups
