Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in hospitality industry in similar role
- Proficient communication skills in English
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and access
- Ability to remain composed and attentive under pressure
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security protocols
- Capacity to work independently and in a team environment
- Availability to remain stationary for long periods
- Willingness to provide courteous guest service consistently
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Ability to pleasantly communicate with proper grammar in English
- Ability to provide legible communication
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
- One year experience in similar position in hospitality industry
- Ability to input and access data in computer
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous
- Ability to promote positive relations with individuals approaching Concierge Desk and by telephone
- Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make conscious decisions
- Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up
- Ability to focus attention on details
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- Ability to ensure security of guest room access
- Ability to work well under pressure of coordinating multiple requests
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provide service to guests at a consistent level in accordance with Ojai Valley Inn standards and regulations
- Provide information to guest and visitor inquiries
- Coordinate all guest requests for special arrangements or services
- Escort VIPs to assigned guest rooms and inform them of hotel services, features, and amenities
- Attend immediate needs of VIPs and special attention guests upon arrival and throughout their stay
- Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features, services, and amenities
- Coordinate guest requests with designated vendors including transportation, dining, and various service reservations
