The role of Room Service Server at Hilton is about much more than delivering food and beverages; it is about creating memorable experiences that brighten each guest's stay. This position requires a dynamic individual who can work a wide range of shifts, including early mornings and late evenings, and who is available on holidays and weekends. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in room service or fast-paced serving environments, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a brisk and steady pace throughout their shift. Standing and moving throughout the shift is necessary, reflecting the physical demands of the role.
In this role, you will be the face of Hilton’s hospitality, engaging with guests in a friendly and upbeat manner and proactively enhancing their dining experience. Managing seamless service includes setting up room service trays and tables, taking and processing orders, delivering meals with care, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The position also involves responsible handling of payments and maintaining high standards in sanitation and alcohol awareness.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to work any shifts as early as 5am and as late as 11pm
- Must be available all holidays and weekends
- Must have prior room service or serving experience in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and have strong organizational skills
- Have or obtain Washington State Mast permit and Food Handlers card
- Must be on your feet standing and walking throughout the shift
- Looking for someone outgoing and enjoys interacting with guests
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in room service or serving in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shifts
- Outgoing personality with excellent guest interaction skills
- Possession or ability to obtain Washington State Mast permit and Food Handlers card
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their meal experience special
- Set up room service trays and tables in advance for timely order delivery
- Assist with order-taking tasks and respond to room service phone calls
- Retrieve food and beverage orders and deliver to guest rooms or meeting rooms
- Present checks to guests, collect payments, and return signed checks to the order taker
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
