The Room Service Server role at Bernardus Lodge is pivotal in delivering a seamless and upscale in-room dining experience to guests. The primary responsibility is to provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service in handling guest orders, ensuring that every detail from presentation to dietary requests is meticulously executed. Working closely with the culinary team, the Room Service Server must maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, including specials and beverage selections, to confidently assist guests and enhance their dining experience.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid Food Handler Certificate required
- RBS Certificate required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods
- Must communicate clearly and professionally in English
- Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities
- Additional language skills are a plus

Job Duties
- Answer in-room dining calls promptly, courteously, and with polished professionalism
- Accurately record guest orders and ensure all details and special requests are clearly communicated to the culinary team
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menus, including daily specials, seasonal offerings, and ingredient details
- Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the wine list and all beverage selections, including spirits, beer, wines by the glass, after-dinner drinks, non-alcoholic beverages, and coffee and tea service
- Operate the Micros POS system accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders to guest rooms with timeliness, elegance, and attention to presentation standards
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor toward guests and colleagues at all times
