Job Description
Kessler Hospitality is a distinguished portfolio of artistically inspired boutique hotels known for their unique design, luxurious accommodations, enriching ambiance, and intuitive service. The company manages a collection of exceptional properties located across Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Each hotel in the Kessler Hospitality portfolio is celebrated for its exquisite art, music, and cultural influences, all curated to be deliberately approachable and engaging for guests. The brand’s philosophy centers on redefining Bohemian luxury, offering guests unforgettable experiences in settings ranging from vibrant downtown icons and premier luxury lodges to entertainment destinations and elite ski lodges. Kessler Hospitality's pioneering spirit was evident in its role as the founding member of the Marriott Autograph Collection, launching seven signature branded hotels that exemplify bold, original style tailored for the individualistic traveler.
The Grand Bohemian Charlotte, Autograph Collection, stands as a premier AAA Four Diamond boutique hotel strategically situated in Uptown Charlotte. Its central location affords easy access to celebrated landmarks such as Truist Field, Romare Bearden Park, and the NASCAR Hall of Fame, as well as proximity to the Charlotte Convention Center and the city’s bustling business district. The hotel’s guest rooms stand out with Argentinian-inspired aesthetics, complemented by modern amenities designed to ensure comfort and style. Dining experiences at The Grand Bohemian Charlotte include the elegant Mico Restaurant and the rooftop Búho Bar, which offers panoramic views of the Uptown skyline. Additional guest amenities feature an art gallery, inviting social spaces, and versatile event venues capable of hosting meetings, weddings, and social functions.
The role of a Room Service Server at The Grand Bohemian Charlotte is a pivotal position responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests in their rooms. This hourly role demands attentiveness, efficiency, and courteous interaction, ensuring that every order is prepared and delivered with the highest standards of hospitality. The server's duties extend beyond simple delivery; it includes managing station preparation, stocking necessary supplies, handling VIP amenities, and maintaining meticulous sanitation standards. Every interaction with guests requires professionalism, a warm demeanor, and a thorough knowledge of the menu to enhance guest satisfaction through informed upselling. The position also involves operational tasks such as cashiering, shift paperwork, and coordination with other departments to resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively.
Employees in this role are expected to exhibit strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and guest service enhancement. The position necessitates compliance with established policies, including safety, appearance standards, and confidentiality. Room Service Servers at The Grand Bohemian Charlotte play a crucial role in shaping the guest experience, embodying the brand's values of hospitality and luxury. This opportunity is perfect for those passionate about delivering impeccable service in a dynamic hotel environment that values artistry, culture, and guest engagement. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to maintaining the high standards that Kessler Hospitality is known for, making it an ideal role for individuals seeking growth and excellence in the hospitality industry.
