Job Description

The position available is within the Room Service team, focusing on delivering food and beverage services to guests to ensure a positive and memorable guest experience. This role is hourly, non-tipped, and offers a salary of $7.25 per hour, with no discretionary performance bonus eligibility. Successful candidates will perform essential duties such as setting up and delivering all food and beverage orders, conducting floor sweeps to maintain cleanliness, delivering VIP amenities, and servicing hospitality suites in accordance with banquet event orders. The role requires effective communication skills to respond to guest needs, issues, and comments, fostering enhanced customer satisfaction and encouraging future patronage.

In addition, the role involves cash handling duties aligned with company policies and adherence to attendance requirements to ensure reliable availability. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must comply with attendance and punctuality requirements
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Basic cash handling skills
  • Availability to work as assigned
  • Commitment to providing excellent guest service

Job Qualifications

  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate well with guests
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences including supervisors, coworkers, and the public
  • Ability to grasp, bend, lift or carry goods weighing up to 100 lbs continuously with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

  • Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines, procedures and policies
  • Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays to maintain sanitation standards
  • Set up and deliver all VIP amenities
  • Service all hospitality suites according to Banquet Event Orders and policies
  • Complete all shift side work as outlined in operating policies and procedures
  • Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure quality experience and enhance sales
  • Report communications to immediate shift supervisor
  • Perform cash handling responsibilities in accordance with company policies
  • Comply with attendance rules and ensure regular work availability
  • Perform any other assigned job-related duties
