Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in room service or similar role preferred
- food/beverage service worker permit if required by local law
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- meet the minimum legal age requirement for employment
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years prior room service experience preferred
- some wine and fine food knowledge helpful
- able to read, write and speak English fluently
- food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
- ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members
- meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
Job Duties
- deliver meals and beverages to guest rooms promptly and courteously
- ensure accuracy of orders and special requests
- maintain cleanliness and presentation of trays and carts
- provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- communicate effectively with kitchen and other hotel departments
- adhere to health and safety regulations
- assist with other food and beverage services as needed
