Job Description

Four Seasons is a globally recognized luxury hospitality company known for delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to guests around the world. With a reputation built on dedication to quality, genuine care, and attention to detail, Four Seasons represents the pinnacle of the luxury hotel and resort industry. Their commitment to cultivating a world-class employee experience and fostering a positive company culture has helped them maintain their status as a leader in the hospitality business. Employees at Four Seasons are encouraged to push themselves to new heights, grow professionally and personally, and treat each other with respect and kindness, mirroring the way they interact with guests.

Situated in the sophisticated urban waterfront area of Baltimore's Harbor East, the Four Seasons hotel represents a modern urban retreat offering a blend of luxury and comfort. This location features top-tier amenities such as a five-star spa, a rooftop pool, and easy access to city landmarks, top restaurants, and miles of walkable waterfront. The hotel welcomes a diverse set of guests, ranging from families on vacation to business travelers and couples on romantic getaways, providing tailored services that meet a variety of guest needs.

The Room Service Coordinator plays a crucial role within this vibrant setting, acting as the vital link between guests and the kitchen. This position involves taking guest in-room dining orders, ensuring that special requests and dietary needs are clearly communicated, and coordinating the timely delivery of orders to maintain the highest standards of quality and service. The coordinator must use courteous and efficient telephone etiquette, describing menu items vividly to enhance the guest’s dining experience while accurately processing orders through the hotel’s point-of-sales system.

In this role, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are paramount. The Room Service Coordinator ensures that guest orders are checked against completed kitchen orders, coordinates deliveries by room service servers, and properly closes guest checks by recording charges and gratuities accurately. Anticipating guest needs, offering helpful suggestions, responding swiftly to concerns, and managing amenity requests are also key responsibilities. This ensures that every guest feels valued and cared for, enhancing their overall stay.

Working at Four Seasons offers a comprehensive employee experience that includes a competitive hourly wage of $23.35, extensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options, life and short-term disability insurance, and paid time off including holidays. Employees also benefit from a 401k retirement plan, ongoing training and development opportunities, complimentary meals, access to complimentary room nights at Four Seasons locations worldwide, and discounted employee parking. These benefits reflect Four Seasons' commitment to employee well-being and professional growth, fostering a supportive workplace where talent can thrive.

Four Seasons is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity and inclusion, encouraging minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities to apply. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. The company also complies with Maryland state laws that regulate employment testing practices. Joining Four Seasons means becoming part of a team that values connection, respect, and creating lasting impressions for guests and employees alike.
