The role of a Room Service Attendant at Banner Health’s North Colorado Medical Center is vital to the hospital’s culinary and nutrition services team. Room Service Attendants are responsible for preparing room service trays, delivering meals to patients, cleaning patient trays, and assisting with kitchen duties. This role is physically active, requiring attendants to be on their feet 90% of the time and take approximately 15,000 to 20,000 steps daily during an evening shift from 3 pm to 8 pm. Working part-time for 24 hours a week, including weekend rotations with a $1.50 hourly weekend shift differential, employees contribute directly to patient satisfaction and support clinical dietary recommendations.

In this position, team members engage directly with patients to take meal orders, making sure selections align with prescribed dietary needs, which may involve communicating with dietetic technicians and dietitians.
