The Room Attendant position at PAH Management is integral to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and comfort throughout the hotel guest rooms, hallways, and public areas. This role ensures every guest experiences a clean, welcoming, and safe environment consistent with company and brand standards. The attendant’s daily responsibilities include servicing guest rooms by cleaning thoroughly, changing linens, replenishing necessary supplies, and attending to bathrooms and other room features such as windows and balconies. Furthermore, managing housekeeping carts and supplies safely and efficiently forms a critical part of the role, ensuring all materials are organized and readily accessible.
Guest service is paramount in this role; engaging with guests courteously, responding promptly to requests, and reporting concerns to the supervisory staff are essential to maintaining guest satisfaction. The position requires coordination with the housekeeping team and supervisor to prioritize tasks and assist wherever needed, fostering a collaborative work environment. This role demands physical stamina as attendants must be capable of lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment safely. The job is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with flexible scheduling that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, averaging 36 to 40 hours per week.

Job Requirements
- No formal education requirement
- Ability to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and up to 20 lbs of force frequently or constantly
- Ability to bend lift and remain standing or walking for the duration of the shift
- Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and to effectively listen to and understand the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
Job Qualifications

- Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience in a hotel or related hospitality setting preferred
- Familiarity with hotel safety and security procedures preferred
Job Duties
- Clean and service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures including picking up trash sweeping and dusting
- Change linens and make beds to hotel presentation standards
- Clean the entire bathroom thoroughly following hotel cleanliness standards
- Clean windows and balconies as part of the standard room servicing routine
- Replenish guest room supplies and amenities according to company standards
- Retrieve stock restock and store the housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping safety and security procedures and regulations
- Receive assigned section keys supplies and any priority room requests from the Senior Housekeeper at the start of each shift
- Turn in keys and unused supplies at the end of each shift
- Respond to guest requests promptly and report guest issues or complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction
- Report any missing articles damage or mechanical problems to the Senior Housekeeper
- Turn in any articles left behind in guest rooms in accordance with lost-and-found procedures
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor on daily work priorities and provide assistance to fellow team members when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
