The Room Attendant services rooms daily, managing housekeeping carts, replenishing linens and guest amenities, and responding promptly to guest requests. This position requires physical stamina due to the lifting and movement involved, along with a detail-oriented approach to cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • No formal education requirement
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently
  • Ability to bend, lift, and remain standing or walking for full shift
  • Ability to communicate clearly and listen effectively
  • Availability for flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work 36-40 hours per week
  • No travel required

Job Qualifications

  • No formal education required
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions
  • Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience preferred
  • Familiarity with hotel safety and security procedures preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with team members

Job Duties

  • Clean and service guest rooms daily
  • Change linens and make beds to hotel presentation standards
  • Clean bathrooms thoroughly following hotel standards
  • Clean windows and balconies as part of room servicing
  • Replenish guest room supplies and amenities
  • Retrieve, stock, restock, and store housekeeping cart
  • Receive section keys, supplies, and priority requests from Senior Housekeeper
  • Turn in keys and unused supplies at shift end
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and report issues
  • Report missing articles or damage to Senior Housekeeper
  • Turn in articles left behind according to lost-and-found procedures
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor on priorities
  • Assist team members as needed
  • Perform additional duties assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor
