The role requires strict observance of safety procedures and proper use of protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Job Requirements
- Physically fit and able to be on feet for most of the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform push/pull tasks
- Able to bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks related to housekeeping
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic literacy skills including reading, writing, and math
- Willingness to follow safety and operational guidelines
- Ability to wear uniform and present a professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic literacy skills including reading, writing, and math
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Make sure rooms are at their best and meet standards
- Help guests with requests such as providing toiletries or directions
- Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and report repairs needed
- Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment
- Organize and manage supplies and amenities while minimizing waste
- Reunite lost and found items with owners and log appropriately
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and turndown duties
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
