Nestled on a 150-foot seaside bluff in the idyllic coastal town of Dana Point, California, this AAA 5-Diamond resort boasts over 400 beautifully appointed guest rooms, extensive indoor and outdoor meeting spaces spanning 115,000 square feet, and eight diverse food and beverage outlets, including four restaurants and a beach club. Dana Point itself is famous for its rich surf culture history and a relaxed, active lifestyle that perfectly complements the resort's serene yet vibrant environment. As a part-time Room Attendant at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort, you have the unique opportunity to contribute to a legendary hospitality experience characterized by impeccable service and memorable guest interactions. This role involves much more than basic housekeeping duties. As a Room Attendant, you are the face of warmth and hospitality, playing a direct role in ensuring each guest’s stay is delightful and comfortable. The work schedule includes morning shifts, with availability required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, typically involving 2 to 4 shifts per week. Compensation starts at $23.50 per hour, increasing up to $26.50 per hour upon advancement to a Self-Inspector position, reflecting specialized experience and performance. Your daily responsibilities include maintaining spotless guest rooms through cleaning, tidying, bed making, bathroom sanitation, dusting, vacuuming, and undertaking deep cleaning projects as needed. You also manage replenishment of linens and essential guest amenities, operate and maintain the housekeeping supply cart, promptly attend to guest requests with courtesy, and ensure all waste is properly disposed of in the designated areas. The role requires embodying Hilton's core values, such as hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a proactive sense of urgency. These values shape an environment that inspires team members to exceed expectations and foster an enduring positive impact on guest experiences. Beyond your immediate job responsibilities, Hilton is committed to supporting the wellbeing and growth of every team member. Benefits include exciting travel perks with up to 110 nights of discounted stays across Hilton’s global hotels, an employee stock purchase program offering shares at a discount to build financial security, paid parental leave for eligible members to support families, personalized caregiving support services, mental health resources, generous paid time off, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, and retirement savings plans. This comprehensive benefits package is designed to ensure team members thrive both professionally and personally. Hilton fosters a workplace culture repeatedly recognized as one of the World’s Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work and Fortune, emphasizing career development, recognition, and inclusivity. The Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort offers an exceptional work environment within a globally respected hospitality brand, setting new standards in luxury accommodation and guest service.
