Delano Miami Beach is preparing to make a grand comeback in 2026 as a premier luxury lifestyle hotel. This prestigious establishment, known for its iconic historic charm fused with modern sophistication, will feature 171 exquisitely designed rooms and unique food and beverage experiences. The hotel will maintain its signature walk-in pool while introducing a new pool on an elevated amenity deck, offering stunning ocean views. As the brand's flagship property, Delano Miami Beach aims to redefine upscale hospitality, blending timeless elegance with contemporary luxury.

We are currently seeking dedicated Room Attendants to join the team for the reopening phase of this celebrated property. The Room Attendant role is pivotal in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and overall upkeep within the hotel’s guest rooms and surrounding areas. Reporting to the Floor Supervisor, Room Attendants ensure each guest receives exceptional, personalized service that elevates their experience at Delano Miami Beach. This position emphasizes attention to detail, efficiency, and a warm, approachable demeanor to foster a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

In this role, Room Attendants are responsible for maintaining immaculate guest rooms including bathrooms and other related spaces, ensuring that all areas meet the hotel’s rigorous standards for cleanliness and presentation. Daily tasks include changing bed linens, dusting furniture, sanitizing bathrooms, and restocking guest amenities with precision. The role also involves reporting maintenance issues and any rooms that are not accessible or cannot be serviced. Room Attendants play a crucial role in supporting guest satisfaction by promptly addressing special requests and professionally handling any complaints.

This is a dynamic position within a vibrant team environment. The ideal candidate will show flexibility and a commitment to excellent guest service, sometimes performing lateral duties as needed to support overall hotel operations. Physical stamina is required for tasks such as standing or walking for extended periods and manually handling cleaning equipment and supplies. The successful candidate will be attentive, courteous, and responsive, embodying the company’s dedication to quality and luxury hospitality.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One to two years of experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
Ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills in English
Physically able to stand or walk for at least eight hours per shift
Capable of performing physical tasks such as twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, climbing, and carrying
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors depending on business needs
Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
Flexibility to perform lateral service tasks as needed

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
One to two years of experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
Warm, friendly, and approachable demeanor with a positive attitude
Ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain positive and productive working relationships across departments
Capable of working independently while contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere
Physically able to stand or walk for a minimum of eight hours per shift
Must be observant, responsive, and able to handle multiple tasks and high-pressure situations with professionalism
Able to twist, push/pull, reach, bend, climb, and carry objects as needed to complete daily duties
Excellent communication skills
must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be flexible to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance according to department uniform guidelines

Job Duties

Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and related areas in accordance with hotel cleanliness and presentation standards
Re-sheet beds daily with fresh, wrinkle-free linen
dust all furniture
clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly
replenish guest supplies and stationery
vacuum all floors
Accurately record all serviced rooms on daily worksheets and report any rooms that cannot be serviced
Ensure VIP amenities and gifts are replenished and presented daily
Dispose of trash and soiled linen safely and correctly, following hotel protocols
Maintain all housekeeping equipment in working order
report any faults or maintenance needs immediately
Establish a respectful and courteous rapport with guests, addressing inquiries and special requests promptly
Handle guest complaints with professionalism, ensuring proper resolution and follow-up, and escalate when necessary
Adhere to hotel key control procedures and maintain accountability for assigned keys
Immediately turn in all lost and found items and follow the hotel's lost property procedures
Support inventory checks and participate in special cleaning projects as required
Ensure guest property is handled with care and in accordance with hotel standards
Report any damage to bedding, curtains, blinds, or furnishings to the Floor Supervisor
Notify the Floor Supervisor of any rooms marked "Do Not Disturb," double-locked, or otherwise inaccessible
Report any shortages of linen, guest supplies, or equipment to the appropriate supervisor
Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
immediately report any hazards or concerns
Collaborate with fellow team members to assist in related tasks or cover duties as needed to ensure smooth operations
Provide lateral service as needed in the spirit of exceptional guest service
Perform various related tasks routinely to support the team and enhance guest experience
