Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • Flexible and able to work long hours when necessary
  • Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • Friendly, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor
  • Attendance in accordance with Hilton standards
  • Adherence to Hilton’s regulations and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees
  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to established standards
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties including preparation of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen cart setup
  • Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • Maintain cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and closets, including vacuuming if applicable
  • Restock and replenish housekeeping cleaning cart and chemical bottles for next day use
  • Clean guest rooms with the door closed unless otherwise requested by the guest
  • Report missing items such as irons, boards, hair dryers to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Immediately report any maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Handle lost and found items in accordance with standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction by adhering to Hilton’s quality and service standards
