The Room Attendant works closely with the Housekeeping Management Team to ensure guest rooms and public space areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained in line with Sonesta’s rigorous brand time, product, and placement standards. Additionally, the role often involves responsibilities in the commercial laundry facility, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to health and safety regulations.\n\nThis position is essential to the guest experience, as the Room Attendant contributes to creating a clean, inviting, and safe environment that reflects Sonesta's commitment to hospitality excellence. The role requires consistent dedication to delivering the Sonesta Service in all guest interactions, responding promptly and effectively to guest complaints and requests, and ensuring corrective action is taken to maintain complete guest satisfaction. A Room Attendant must be diligent in performing routine cleaning tasks, including bed making, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and more, all while maintaining a keen awareness of guest needs and property standards.\n\nIn addition to standard housekeeping duties, the Room Attendant plays an important role in monitoring laundry operations, inspecting linens, operating washers and dryers, and minimizing waste of supplies and amenities to support sustainable housekeeping practices. Through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management, the Room Attendant fosters teamwork and consistent service quality.
