This role is an opportunity to join HHM Hotels as a Housekeeper, a critical position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms in accordance with established standards. The daily duties involve sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing furniture and fixtures, as well as replacing bedding and towels. Housekeepers are also attentive to detail and capable of identifying and reporting maintenance needs, contributing to the overall upkeep and safety of the facility.
In addition to maintaining rooms, housekeepers at HHM Hotels are expected to interact warmly with guests, offering friendly greetings and assisting whenever needed. They must follow safety standards such as MSDS and OSHA guidelines, using appropriate personal protective equipment. The role may include coverage for lobby attendant duties during high occupancy or staffing shortages, demonstrating the company’s collaborative work culture. Job Duties
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting
- clean guest rooms according to standards within the assigned time by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities
- clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- dust furniture, walls, or equipment
- report to managers about the need for repairs in guest rooms
- process guest forgotten items according to the lost and found policy
- practice safe work habits and use protective equipment following MSDS and OSHA standards
- perform housekeeping and lobby attendant duties during staff shortages or peak periods
- consider guest satisfaction scores and work to increase overall guest and departmental satisfaction
- ensure overall guest satisfaction
- perform other duties as assigned by management
