Job Description

HHM Hotels is a renowned hospitality group specializing in providing exceptional lodging experiences across a diverse portfolio of hotels. With a commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction, HHM Hotels focuses on delivering high-quality services in a welcoming and comfortable environment. The company prides itself on its dedication to employee growth and creating a positive workplace culture. HHM Hotels offers a broad range of opportunities for career advancement within the hospitality sector, supporting employees from entry-level positions to leadership roles.

The Housekeeper position at HHM Hotels plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, ensuring every stay is pleasant and meets the standards expected by guests and management alike. This is a frontline hospitality role involving cleaning, maintaining, and preparing guest rooms to uphold the brand’s quality standards. Employment in this role is part-time or full-time with a competitive compensation rate of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. Housekeepers at HHM Hotels enjoy a clear growth path with opportunities to advance from Housekeeping Supervisor to Assistant Executive Housekeeper and eventually Executive Housekeeper.

The role requires vigilance and attention to detail, as housekeepers are responsible for sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, changing linens, replacing towels and amenities, dusting and polishing furniture, and ensuring all fixtures are spotless. Furthermore, they must identify any maintenance issues within the guest rooms and alert the management for prompt repairs. The housekeeper also handles guest belongings left behind, following the lost and found policies strictly. Employee safety is emphasized through mandatory observance of MSDS and OSHA guidelines, including wearing protective safety equipment and practicing safe work habits.

Housekeepers at HHM Hotels contribute significantly to guest satisfaction by not only attending to physical cleanliness but also by offering courteous interactions with guests, greeting them warmly, and maintaining a professional demeanor. They may also be asked to support other departments such as house person and lobby attendant duties during busy periods or staffing shortages. Ensuring overall guest satisfaction is a primary focus, with staff encouraged to be mindful of guest satisfaction scores and to work towards continuous improvement in this area.

This role demands flexibility as work schedules may vary, including weekends and holidays, and physical demands such as standing for extended periods, walking, bending, lifting up to 20 pounds, and the safe use of cleaning chemicals are inherent parts of the job. HHM Hotels places a strong emphasis on values encapsulated in its company culture statement: 'People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble - Own It.' These values guide employees to deliver premium service experiences while fostering personal and professional growth.

The benefits package provided by HHM Hotels enhances employee well-being and satisfaction with competitive wages for both full-time and part-time employees, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k company match, daily pay options, free basic life insurance, travel discounts, commuter transit and parking benefits, employee assistance and wellness programs, educational and professional development opportunities, and a referral bonus program. These benefits reflect HHM Hotels’ recognition of the vital role that team members play in the company’s success and their commitment to supporting them beyond the workplace.
