The company operates multiple hotel brands and caters to diverse clientele including business travelers, vacationers, and long-term guests, ensuring high standards in cleanliness, safety, and comfort.
The role of Room Attendant at HHM Hotels is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of guest accommodations. This full-time or part-time position emphasizes a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service skills. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to meet established standards, ensuring that every guest enjoys a pristine environment during their stay. The role involves a variety of cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and dusting furniture and fixtures, along with changing bed linens and replenishing towels and amenities.
Beyond daily cleaning, Room Attendants play a vital role in guest satisfaction by greeting guests warmly, responding to their needs promptly, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The position requires awareness of guest satisfaction scores and a proactive approach to improving the guest experience. Room Attendants also assist with lost and found procedures and support other hotel functions by stepping in as house person or lobby attendant during busy periods or staff shortages. HHM Hotels provides comprehensive training and growth opportunities, with a clear career progression path from Housekeeping Supervisor to Assistant Executive Housekeeper and ultimately Executive Housekeeper.
The physical demands of the job are considerable and include standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 20 pounds, as well as handling cleaning chemicals safely. Compliance with safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to OSHA and MSDS standards, is critical. HHM Hotels is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive workplace that values individuals' unique contributions and fosters continuous professional development.
This position offers competitive wages and a benefits package that supports employee well-being and financial security. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) matching, daily pay options, life insurance, travel discounts, commuting benefits, employee assistance programs, and educational opportunities.
