Job Description

HHM Hotels is a prominent hospitality company widely recognized for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences across a diverse portfolio of properties. As a dynamic and growing hotel group, HHM Hotels focuses on delivering high-quality services while fostering a supportive and engaging work environment for its employees. Known for its dedication to excellence and innovation, HHM Hotels has established itself as a leader in the hospitality industry, continuously striving to enhance guest satisfaction and employee professional growth.

The company offers a rewarding opportunity for dedicated professionals through the Housekeeping position, which is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest accommodations. This role is hourly paid at $19.00 per hour and involves critical responsibilities that ensure guest rooms meet established standards to guarantee an exceptional stay for all guests. Housekeepers at HHM Hotels play a pivotal role in upholding the company’s reputation by ensuring cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

In the Housekeeping role, individuals are expected to clean and maintain guest rooms by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and changing linens as per the hotel’s rigorous standards. Attention to detail is crucial as housekeepers polish furniture and fixtures, replace towels and amenities, and report any maintenance issues to management. This position requires the ability to interact positively with guests, providing a warm and friendly greeting upon contact, which helps to enhance the overall guest experience.

Additionally, housekeepers must adhere strictly to safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards to maintain a safe working environment. The role also encompasses other duties such as processing lost and found items, performing house person and lobby attendant tasks during peak times or staff shortages, and actively contributing to department goals focused on guest satisfaction.

HHM Hotels supports career advancement within its housekeeping team, offering a clear growth path from Housekeeping Supervisor to Assistant Executive Housekeeper, culminating in the Executive Housekeeper role. This progression reflects the company’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing long-term career opportunities within the hospitality sector.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous housekeeping experience or comparable training, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. HHM Hotels fosters a workplace culture that values people, service excellence, agility, and accountability, motivating employees to excel and take ownership of their roles.

This role offers more than competitive wages; it includes a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees’ health, well-being, and professional growth. Benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k company match, daily pay options, life insurance, travel discounts, commuter benefits, employee assistance programs, educational opportunities, and referral bonuses make this an attractive and fulfilling place to build a career in hospitality.

Candidates should be prepared for a physically demanding work environment that may include standing for long periods and performing tasks that involve lifting, bending, kneeling, and using cleaning chemicals. Flexibility in working hours, including holidays and weekends, is essential to meet the demands of this fast-paced and guest-centered role.
