The Room Attendant position at HHM Hotels is a full-time role central to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for guests. This role involves cleaning and maintaining guest rooms meticulously to meet established standards, ensuring guests receive a consistently pleasant and welcoming stay. The responsibilities of the Room Attendant include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, changing bed linens, replenishing towels and amenities, and polishing furniture and fixtures. In addition to cleaning duties, Room Attendants are expected to interact warmly with guests, providing a friendly and professional greeting to enhance the overall guest experience.
Room Attendants also play a critical role in safety and maintenance by notifying management about any repair needs and handling guest items left behind according to the lost and found policy. The position may require flexibility to perform additional duties such as house person and lobby attendant roles during peak times or staffing shortages. Beyond routine tasks, the Room Attendant contributes to improving guest satisfaction scores by executing their duties with attention to detail and care.
The work environment includes physically demanding tasks that may involve standing for extended periods, walking, reaching, bending, lifting up to 20 pounds, and using cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with OSHA standards. - Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training
- Ability to understand and communicate in English

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting
- Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Dust furniture, walls or equipment
- Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms
- Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
