The company values its employees as essential contributors to its success and growth, fostering a work culture built on respect, excellence, and innovation. HHM Hotels employs a team-oriented approach, encouraging continuous professional development, and ensuring a positive work environment for all staff members.
The Room Attendant role at HHM Hotels is a foundational position within the housekeeping department, critical to maintaining an impeccable standard of cleanliness and comfort in guest rooms. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that uphold the company's high standards, thus directly impacting guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of the hotel. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities and provides competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and a clear career progression path.
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that each guest room is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stocked with necessary amenities. Your duties will include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, changing linens, replacing towels, and polishing furniture. You will be expected to identify maintenance issues and report them promptly to management, ensuring that guests’ needs are met efficiently and that their experience is nothing short of excellent. Additionally, you'll process any items left behind by guests according to the hotel's lost and found policy, supporting operational integrity and guest trust.
This role demands a high level of attention to detail, strong work ethics, and effective communication skills, especially in interactions with guests. The hotel emphasizes a welcoming attitude where every greeting is warm and friendly, setting the tone for a positive guest experience. Safety is a priority at HHM Hotels, requiring adherence to established OSHA and MSDS standards to maintain a secure working environment. As staffing needs fluctuate, Room Attendants may also be called upon to assist with houseperson and lobby attendant duties, fostering flexibility and teamwork within the department.
The company places a strong focus on employee growth and development. Starting as a Room Attendant, there is a clear advancement path to Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and ultimately Executive Housekeeper. HHM Hotels supports its team members through various training programs and encourages a culture of excellence and ownership. This commitment to professional development helps employees refine their skills and achieve their career goals.
The work environment requires standing for extended periods and involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, and using cleaning chemicals, making physical stamina and a proactive mindset essential. HHM Hotels is dedicated to inclusivity, ensuring that employees from diverse backgrounds have the opportunity to succeed and contribute valuably to the company’s mission.
