Job Description

HHM Hotels is a renowned hospitality company known for providing exceptional guest experiences across its various hotel properties. Committed to excellence, HHM Hotels prides itself on delivering superior service in a warm and welcoming environment. The company operates with a strong focus on care, safety, and the continuous professional development of its employees. As a hospitality leader, HHM Hotels offers competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities within the organization, making it a preferred employer within the hotel industry.

This opportunity is for the role of Room Attendant, a critical position within the housekeeping team at HHM Hotels. Room Attendants play a vital role in ensuring guest rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained, adhering to high standards that directly contribute to guest satisfaction. This is a hands-on role that involves cleaning, organizing, and replenishing rooms while upholding safety protocols. The position requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently within the allotted time frame.

The Room Attendant is responsible for a variety of duties, including greeting guests as a part of the hotel’s culture of hospitality, cleaning rooms by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming floors, and changing bed linens along with replacing towels and amenities. Attention to detail extends to polishing furniture, dusting walls and equipment, and reporting any maintenance issues to ensure the rooms remain in top condition. The role also involves processing guest items left behind according to the hotel’s lost and found policy.

Safety is a priority at HHM Hotels; thus, Room Attendants must practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and comply with Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and OSHA standards when handling cleaning chemicals and performing job tasks. During peak periods or when short-staffed, Room Attendants may be called upon to perform additional duties like house person or lobby attendant responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

This position offers a clear career progression path, from Housekeeping Supervisor to Assistant Executive Housekeeper and ultimately to Executive Housekeeper. Employees are encouraged to grow within the company through professional development opportunities, training programs, and supportive management. HHM Hotels emphasizes guest satisfaction as a core value, expecting Room Attendants to contribute actively towards increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction scores by delivering excellent service consistently.

The role requires physical stamina due to the nature of the tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 20 pounds, and the use of cleaning chemicals. The work schedule may include holidays and weekends, reflecting the hospitality industry's demand for around-the-clock service.

HHM Hotels believes in a philosophy centered around people, service, excellence, agility, and ownership—values that guide all employees in their daily work. The Room Attendant position is perfect for individuals dedicated to hospitality, quality service, and personal growth within an established hotel company that values its team members and their contributions.
