Job Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must have eyesight-enabling vision both near and far
- Must be able to climb up and down stairs
- Must speak clearly and understand English
- Must be able to bend, stretch arms overhead, and lift or carry up to 25 pounds
- Must be honest and work well with others
- Must have the highest degree of integrity and humility
- Must be able to stand or walk for 8 hours
- Must be able to work in restrictive spaces or environments
- Must have knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures
- Must be responsible for the security of guests, associates, and hotel assets
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is beneficial
- Ability to work with a diverse team and guests
- Strong communication skills in English
- Outgoing personality with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and hospitality standards
- Integrity and commitment to company values
- Ability to follow safety and security procedures
Job Duties
- Focus on ways to promote and engage in internal growth programs
- Continuously exemplify and live by company culture
- Meet or exceed company goals and key performance metrics
- Adhere to Vision Hospitality Group and brand standards
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas
- Report maintenance issues and out-of-order equipment
- Make beds neatly with fresh linens
- Remove trash and clean waste cans
- Clean mirrors, shelves, furniture, and dust light fixtures
- Deep clean one guest room daily
- Clean bathrooms scrubbing basin, bathtub, toilet, and tile floors
- Disinfect bathroom surfaces
- Replenish room supplies such as soaps, towels, and guest directories
- Vacuum rooms and hallways
- Report room status to Executive Housekeeper
- Maintain a clean and attractive work area and uniform
- Adhere to fire alarm and evacuation procedures
- Ensure security of guests, associates, and hotel assets
- Perform additional duties as assigned by General Manager
- Maintain confidentiality of company and guest information
