Job Requirements
- must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
- must have eyesight enabling vision near and far
- ability to climb stairs
- ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- clear verbal communication and basic hearing
- flexible work schedule availability
- must be honest and reliable
- ability to work well with others
- must understand and follow English instructions
- knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience beneficial
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- dedication to maintaining high cleanliness and service standards
- physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and bending
- honesty and integrity in work ethic
- ability to interact respectfully with diverse cultures and backgrounds
Job Duties
- responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and corridors
- respond courteously to guest needs and requests
- make beds with fresh linens
- clean bathrooms including scrubbing and disinfecting surfaces
- replenish room supplies such as soaps, shampoos, towels, and stationery
- vacuum rooms and hallways
- report maintenance issues and unusual conditions to the executive housekeeper
- maintain a clean and professional appearance
- follow fire alarm and evacuation procedures
- ensure guest and hotel security
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
