Job Description

HHM Hotels is a reputable hospitality company known for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences and quality service. With a strong emphasis on employee growth and guest satisfaction, HHM Hotels operates a collection of properties that offer comfortable accommodations and outstanding amenities to travelers. The company fosters a dynamic work environment where employees are valued and encouraged to develop their skills, aligning with their core values: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. HHM Hotels provides competitive wages and comprehensive benefits that support its team members both professionally and personally.

The role of a Housekeeper at HHM Hotels is critical to maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, ensuring each room meets the high standards of the brand. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $17.50 to $18.00 and is designed for individuals passionate about hospitality and dedicated to creating a welcoming and spotless environment for guests. Successful candidates will have the opportunity for career advancement within the housekeeping department, progressing through roles such as Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and eventually Executive Housekeeper.

In this role, the housekeeping staff greets guests warmly during interactions and performs a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. Attention to detail is essential as housekeepers change bed linens, replace towels, clean and polish furniture, and dust fixtures to maintain the appearance and hygiene of the rooms. Housekeepers are also responsible for reporting any maintenance issues to management promptly and following proper protocols for handling guest belongings left behind. Safety in the workplace is a priority, requiring adherence to OSHA and MSDS standards and use of protective equipment.

This position demands flexibility and teamwork, with housekeepers occasionally filling in for house person and lobby attendant duties, particularly during peak periods or when the department is short-staffed. The role goes beyond cleaning; it involves a commitment to enhancing overall guest satisfaction by contributing positively to guest experience scores and supporting departmental goals.

Candidates should bring previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training and a proficiency in English to communicate effectively. While a high school diploma is preferred, it is not mandatory for dedicated individuals who demonstrate the required skills and work ethic. The physical nature of the job requires the ability to stand for extended periods, and perform lifting, bending, and use cleaning chemicals safely in a fast-paced environment.

HHM Hotels is proud to offer its employees a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k with company match, daily pay options, life insurance, travel discounts, commuter benefits, wellness programs, continuous professional development, and a referral bonus program. The company also maintains a culture of inclusivity and respect, recognizing its people's essential role in delivering excellence in hospitality.

Joining HHM Hotels means becoming part of a team where your work is appreciated and your potential is nurtured. You will be supported in your growth path and encouraged to take ownership of your responsibilities while contributing to a memorable guest experience. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a career in hospitality with a company that values its employees and strives for service excellence.
