The Room Attendant role at HHM Hotels is a critical position responsible for ensuring guest rooms are impeccably maintained to meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and polishing furniture and fixtures to create a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests. Room Attendants also handle linen changes, towel replacements, and restocking of amenities to uphold the quality guest experience expected by HHM Hotels.
In addition to cleaning duties, Room Attendants are expected to greet guests warmly upon interaction, fostering positive guest relations that contribute to overall satisfaction. They are vigilant in reporting maintenance needs and processing any guest items left behind according to the hotel's lost and found policies. This position requires adherence to safety standards including the use of protective equipment and compliance with OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Room Attendants may also be called upon to assist in other areas such as performing house person and lobby attendant duties during peak times or staff shortages, demonstrating the flexible and collaborative work culture at HHM Hotels. The role offers a growth path within the organization, progressing through Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and Executive Housekeeper positions, providing clear advancement opportunities for dedicated employees.

- Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training
- Ability to understand and communicate in English

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon interaction
- Clean guest rooms according to standards within allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures, dust furniture, walls or equipment
- Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms
- Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
