Job Requirements

  • High School diploma preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
  • Knowledge of safe chemical handling via OSHA and MSDS standards

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Physical ability to perform manual cleaning tasks

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting
  • Clean guest rooms according to standards within allotted time by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
  • Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Dust furniture, walls, or equipment
  • Notify managers of repair needs in guest rooms
  • Process guest items left behind according to lost and found policy
  • Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Perform house person and lobby attendant duties during short staffing or peak periods
  • Work toward increasing overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
