Job Requirements

  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred but not required
  • Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to bend, lift, stand, and walk for entire shift
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Effective listening and communication skills
  • Availability to work 36-40 hours per week
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned

  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred but not required

  • Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Good physical stamina
  • Customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Clean guest rooms in accordance with safety and security procedures
  • Pick up trash
  • Change linens and make beds
  • Clean entire bathrooms
  • Sweep and dust guest rooms
  • Clean windows and balconies
  • Retrieve, stock, restock and store housekeeping carts
  • Receive assigned sections, keys, supplies, and priority room requests from Senior Housekeeper
  • Turn in keys and unused supplies at end of shift
  • Respond to guest requests and report complaints hospitably
  • Report missing articles, damages, or mechanical problems
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor on work priorities and provide assistance
