The resort is currently hiring for the full-time position of Turndown Attendant within the Rooms category, offering $19.50 per hour. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by maintaining cleanliness and inviting ambiance in guest rooms during the evening hours. As the 'Heart of the House,' the Turndown Attendant ensures guests feel comfortable, valued, and able to fully enjoy their stay.

Responsibilities include engaging directly with guests to ensure their stay is pleasant, collaborating with team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness, keeping work carts orderly and well-stocked, and ensuring the proper use of equipment and guest amenities. The role demands an individual attentive to detail who can thoroughly clean and sanitize assigned areas, change and inspect linens and towels daily in line with the Green Program standards, and adhere to safety protocols by recognizing and reporting hazards. Furthermore, the Turndown Attendant is expected to respect guests' property, manage equipment responsibly, maintain punctuality and accurate time records, and exhibit courteous and helpful behavior to both guests and coworkers. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience desirable
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Good communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to work evening hours as required

Job Duties

  • Proper utilization of equipment supplies and guest amenities
  • Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
  • Daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following the standards set forth in the Green Program
  • Practice safety standards and be aware of safety hazards, properly reporting as found
  • Respect for guests’ property should always be exercised
  • Responsible care of equipment
  • Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule, maintain accurate time records
  • Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers
  • Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor
