Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Service oriented attitude
  • Ability to follow housekeeping standards and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push or pull objects
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, courteous and service oriented manner with guests and employees

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
  • Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use
  • Replenish chemical bottles
  • Report missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Handle items for Lost and Found according to standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
