Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 months experience in housekeeping or relevant experience

  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • familiarity with safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment

Job Duties

  • Ensure bathroom is cleaned and fully stocked with guest supplies
  • ensure bed is properly made with appropriate clean linen and pillows
  • dust and clean walls, windows, inside of sliding door
  • report maintenance needs and remove items such as refrigerators, rollaways and cribs from rooms
  • complete deep cleaning special projects
  • ensure linen cart is stocked with necessary supplies and tools
  • vacuum, mop, and clean floors
  • anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly to service requests
  • maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas including guestrooms, hallways, public areas, stairwells, linen closets, vending areas, and foyers
  • use correct cleaning chemicals according to OSHA regulations and hotel policies
  • remove all dirty linen and replace with clean linen according to the designated layout
  • replace guestroom items required by standard operating procedures
  • remove trash, dust, and debris from furniture, drapes, mini bars, doors, walls, and fixtures
  • complete recurring projects to ensure departmental cleanliness
  • restock room supplies as needed
  • return and restock cart at shift end
  • turnover lost and found items to supervisor
  • follow 4 Keys service standards, SOPs, and safety procedures
  • collaborate with coworkers and other departments
  • adhere to attendance and reliability standards
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
