The Residence Inn Vacaville, located at 360 Orange Drive, Vacaville, CA 95687, is currently seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join their team. This hourly position offers a competitive wage of $16.90 per hour. The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in delivering impeccable housekeeping services to ensure that guestrooms remain clean, orderly, and welcoming for all guests. Responsibilities include comprehensive cleaning of guestrooms in adherence to established standards, preparing the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, removing trash and dirty linens, maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public areas, replenishing cleaning chemicals, and reporting missing items or maintenance issues directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. The ideal candidate must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and standing for the duration of their shift. Effective communication skills are essential, as is a friendly and service-oriented demeanor to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly

Job Duties

Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use
Replenish chemical bottles
Report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
Handle items for Lost and Found according to the standards
Ensure overall guest satisfaction
