This position is a full-time, non-management role within the housekeeping and laundry department, offering an hourly salary of $32.95. The role is especially suitable for individuals who prefer working the evening shift. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas, in line with The Ritz-Carlton's famed "Gold Standards." The role entails a variety of duties essential to guest satisfaction, including responding promptly to guest and departmental requests, replenishing supplies, and maintaining guest rooms according to strict protocols. Candidates will work closely with other departments to ensure all accommodations are well-stocked, inviting, and flawlessly maintained. Responsibilities include changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming carpets, and addressing safety hazards or maintenance concerns. The candidate must be capable of physical tasks like pushing carts, lifting items (some over 25 pounds with assistance), standing for extended periods, and performing other manual duties necessary to maintain a luxurious guest environment.

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
  • fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area
  • enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy
  • replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
  • replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
  • make beds and fold terry
  • clean bathrooms
  • remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
  • check appliances for presence and working order
  • straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
  • dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
  • vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
  • follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • properly store flammable materials
