The role of a Guest Room Attendant is essential in upholding the cleanliness and orderliness of guest room areas, including bathrooms and bedrooms. This position involves cleaning and maintaining these areas according to company standards, organizing and stocking cleaning carts, managing linen closets, and completing assigned paperwork accurately and promptly. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, show self-initiative, and enjoy working as part of a team focused on delivering outstanding experiences for our guests. Flexibility in working varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required to meet the operational needs of our hospitality service. Additionally, physical requirements such as the ability to lift and move items weighing between 10 and 25 pounds, and being able to stand, walk, and bend occasionally, make this a dynamic and active role. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are also important as the role occasionally requires interactions with colleagues and guests, ensuring any special requests or concerns are addressed promptly.

Job Requirements

  • May be required to work varying schedules to include nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day
  • Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday
  • Frequent fine motor skills use of hands and fingers for keyboarding typing utilizing a mouse or trackpad writing and operating office equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Occasionally required to stand walk bend reach or carry items
  • Ability to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds as needed
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings use phone and/or headset
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain the guest room areas including bathroom and bedroom according to company standards
