The Housekeeper position at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is a vital role within the housekeeping department focused on maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms. This role involves cleaning, stocking, and preparing rooms to meet the resort's high standards. Housekeepers are responsible for executing a broad range of cleaning tasks, including scrubbing bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, and floors using various tools and cleaning agents. They strip beds, change linens, dust furniture and décor thoroughly, and vacuum rooms to remove all dirt and debris. Additionally, they replenish amenities, linens, and supplies to ensure guests have everything they need. Housekeepers also manage room keys, push and restock heavy carts, and visually inspect rooms to confirm cleanliness before guest occupancy.
In addition to routine cleaning duties, housekeepers respond promptly to special guest requests such as providing extra towels, blankets, or pillows. They are required to report any suspicious activity or unsafe conditions to security personnel immediately to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. The role also includes contributing to guest satisfaction by offering assistance, directions, and information as needed. Safety is paramount, so housekeepers may provide instructions or guidance in case of fire or other emergencies. This position does not include supervisory responsibilities, but housekeepers may assist other team members like Housepersons during busy periods.

Job Duties
- Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping
- Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs
- Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly
- Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash
- Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in the guest room
- Sign for room keys, push and restock heavy cart to and from assigned rooms
- Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion of room
