The role of Housekeeping Room Attendant at Hyatt Regency Houston-Downtown is vital to ensuring guests enjoy a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environment throughout their stay. This position involves ensuring that assigned guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Responsibilities extend to greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their inquiries, which fosters an inviting atmosphere and enhances overall guest satisfaction. Housekeeping Room Attendants are entrusted with changing bed linen, making beds with care, and replacing used towels and bathroom amenities such as shampoo and soap. The role also requires thorough cleaning tasks including sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting and polishing furniture, and emptying trash containers and ashtrays.

In addition to guest room care, attendants restock minibar food and beverage items, clean public areas such as corridors, and report any maintenance or technical issues that may be observed during their rounds. Maintaining accurate room status updates on assignment sheets and responsibly managing cleaning equipment by returning and restocking carts at the end of shifts are also crucial parts of the job. This role demands attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to guest service excellence.

Job Requirements
