The role of Guest Room Attendant at Renaissance Baton Rouge is a full-time position dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of guest rooms while delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all hotel guests. The Guest Room Attendant is essential to upholding the high standards of the hotel and ensuring every guest's visit is comfortable and enjoyable. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of guestrooms according to established standards, restocking supplies, removing trash and dirty linen, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public areas. Attendants must approach every interaction with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner and must always be attentive, helpful, and courteous. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach in reporting any maintenance or missing items, and adherence to hospitality and safety standards, including handling lost and found items appropriately. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees
  • thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
  • remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed if applicable
  • restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next days use
  • replenish chemical bottles
  • clean room with the door closed according to standards, unless requested to do otherwise by the guest
  • report all missing items from room to housekeeping supervisor or manager
  • report any maintenance repairs immediately to housekeeping supervisor or manager
  • handle items for lost and found according to the standards
